Youtube consists of a nroadcasting website in which one can watch upload and share videos. The main objective of the platform is to be used as a medium of entertainment.
However, the platform can be used as a teaching tool by focusing on th eeducational videos on the website or by using the system itself for the student sto create their own videos regarding the subjects studied.
This metod of teaching can be used by most students, but those that are too young could became troublesome.
Finally as to state the most glaring limitations it must be stated that taking into account the inmense ammount of "distracting factors" present within itself, issues with the students concentration will begin to rise.
I liked that you chose youtube as a tool for learning. A lot of TED talks can be found in there and they are very useful to create activities. However, it can be quite distracting as you said.
